I don't think Costco is a hustle at all..
Costco's real source of income: its memberships.

frankly, they have to profit on it's loyalty program.
it's the only store I linger in.. to me Costco is an adventure.

years ago, during a severe downturn, I worked in a Walmart. working there was not a
mentally healthy environment... to be honest, totally disgusting place to make wages.

I will say the Walmarts in China have much better qualities & selection than here in the States.
