Gold volatility ($GVZ on stockcharts) is elevated and is showing signs of warning. However, when I just took a quick look at its predictive powers, they were not enough to hang my hat on. As to the harmonic pattern, I've heard of caterpillars transforming into a butterfly, but how does a Gartely do that? Aren't the previous patterns valid anymore? Maybe gold and oil markets are telling you that Russia is not going to invade Ukraine.
