Boris has warned against recognizing breakaway states. But I thought he was in favour of Brexit and Scottish referendum?!! Oh, wait, he means don't recognize breakaway other states, in particular the People's Republic of Donetsk or whatever it's called. Him breaking away is okay, but others wanting self-determination is bad. Not much of a democrat Boris. Ireland broke away 100 years ago. Aotearoa-Zimbabwe has gradually broken away over 120 years. Hong Kong and Taiwan are not allowed to break away, but Boris thinks they should do just that. Crikey Boris, you are a muddle like your hair. He's showing off to his girlfriend so she thinks he's manly and not just a clown, which he is.
Russia is quite happy to have more independent states, such as Kosovo, Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia, Herzogavina, Serbia, ... heck can't think of them all off-hand. A few more in Eastern Ukraine and maybe Western would be a good idea too. Russia's main issue is to not have another 1812 Overture launched from just down the road by USA/NATO/Boris and atavistic Ukrainians still angry over Stalin's horrors.
I first learned of the Ukrainian horrors when working with a descendant of them in Ottawa, Canada in 1975, not many decades after those horrors of Stalin and the German marauding and still in the thick of USSR totalitarianism.
It's 2022 and another century. Time to think forwards to what can be rather than backwards to vengeance against long-dead thugs and evil-doers.
