It was interesting to watch the unified Euroserf kleptocrats sitting behind their leader = usually the financial beneficiaries of the big state kleptocrats are somnolent, but they were all showing alert fearful eyes as they realize that they might have overstepped the mark. Russia is not going to suffer another Barbarossa, 1812 Overture, Charge of the Light Brigade without giving back megatons of 'this is what you have caused with your bullying megalomania'.
Because USA refused to concede that they should NOT array gigatons of carnage all around Russia, and just down the road from Moscow, and should NOT continue to attempt to conquer Crimea and boot Russia out of Sevastopol, Russia is going to have to deal with Ukraine in the age old way.
Rather than just negotiate Donetsk/Donbass independence, Russia will go right across Ukraine and maybe keep the whole lot, or more likely, like Israel in its existential wars against Arabs, give back Gaza, Sinai, what have you, to create a more stable terrestrial defensible country. So western Ukraine will likely become an independent country which might go NATO eventually.
Joe Biden took a couple of questions, then turned and ran away in his latest live broadcast after reading his lines, with not too many stumbles and mistakes. The Euroserf bosses and masses of minions are just wanting to keep their cushy kleptocratic jobs and are scared of where this might all go. Germany notably is NOT talking about a re-run of Barbarossa. They specifically say they are NOT going to take part in war. They should have more emphatically agreed with Russia that arrays of USA/NATO weaponry around Russia is excessively threatening. And that Crimea is reasonably part of Russia. And that continued military pressure on eastern Ukraine provinces was a bad idea.
