Michael, You are asking me if something is possible from a technology standpoint?, you're asking the wrong guy <g>. But what you describe sounds like a GREAT idea. It solves another problem besides transfer rates and that is storage of many photographs. The "cards" that are available now are expensive and don't store many pictures, what do you do if you want to take your digital camera on a 3 week vacation and take many photos? I suppose eventually you will be able to download to your home PC via the internet each night, but that could be years away. I was many years ago trained in photography and planned to make that my career, so I have a perspective from a "fine arts" point of view on this also. But thats another story. Fred left me green with envy at his new purchase, maybe for Christmas... John
