Generally when an underwritter smells a financing they artificially lower the stock to grab a cheap rate. Once financing is closed they let it go again allowing impressive gains for their larger clients to blow out stock, house looks good. Look for the next deal. Never heard of a house raise the price before a financing. Anyone listen in on the Teck conference call? Post details.
