actually there is something in Ukraine that Putin wants-arable land. Russia is a big believer in Zharkova's global cooling model, and if correct, there will be no wheat grown in Russia by 2030. The Ukraine is the bread basket of Europe. Russian control of Ukraine is about food security.

By the way, China is also a big beliver in global cooling and know well that no Chinese dynasty has survived the crop losses and starvation that accompanies global cooling. That is why China is plowing under the savanas in Africa and buying up all the arable land and agra businesses they can.
