Bob almost without exception I look forward to and respect what you post. However, I need to point out just a couple of things. First, I do not know Northam or anything about his "system" and do not believe I have shown him any disrespect. I ask a simple question in that I could not remember the classic definition of a bear market. I assure you and him I meant no disrespect to anyone. Furthermore, I do not believe I suggested "that commonly understood" definition of a bear market had any value at all as some sort of trading rule? However, it is a piece of information that might interest some--like me! As for as suave and sophisticated trading systems go, Northam may be at the front of the line and, if so, I congratulate him. However, like many here I have my own proprietary system developed by me over the last 25 years or so after having attended the school of hard knocks for an extended time. That way I don't have to make any decisions, the math does it for me. In any case I apologize to anyone that has been offended by me.
