Steve, Some nice quotes from Toshiba today on why they will have higher than expected lap top sales: "Rivals such as Compaq have to get most of their components from outside suppliers, but Toshiba gets over half of its laptop components in-house." "The desktop market is just a battle of cutting costs, but in the laptop biz, components and development matter." I wonder if Pfeiff felt that shot across his "we're going to retake the lead in portables" bow? -g- MB
