Now we see those predictions in spades.
Anyone who thinks A*ghanistan didn't factor into Putin's calculus is fooling himself (or herself, or itself).

Another thing that was almost impossible a year ago just entered the realm of possibilities. And that is China's long-desired takeover of Taiwan.

Given that one-third of all computer chips comes from Taiwan, including almost all of the chips that go into iPhones, a potential invasion of Taiwan is going to be a real biotch.

(By the way, Pat Gelsinger at Intel Corp. is loving this, given that he's the only domestic manufacturer of cutting-edge computer chips these days.)
BTW, Brandon is crashing the real estate bubble.
I wasn't aware that Fannie and Freddie were essentially subsidizing purchases of secondary residences instead of primary. Ending that seems like something that is long overdue. Gonna piss off a lot of powerful people in the process, though ...
