It's hard to say right now if this move up is just a gap fill on the indexes and individual stocks, or if it was a sell the rumor of war, buy the actual war thing, like the 1990 Gulf War and the 2003 Iraq War.

I think it will be important to watch how the selling progresses once the Pres starts to speak in about an hour.

If you look at a chart like IWM, the full stochs are still in mid-range and have a long way to go to get into oversold. This is an example of something bouncing off the AM lows, but it may still not be out of the woods yet over the next couple of weeks:
