OT: Mathematical & Irish Music Diversions FWIW, For some interesting OT discussion see the following OT posts I made on the Silicon Investor AMD, ARM, Intel & NVIDIA message board (they are very tolerant of my ravings there). BTW, as a mathematician I only have a passing acquaintance with how complex numbers and complex analysis get used in electrical engineering (e.g., at the end of my third post below on Platonic Realism I give a brief introduction to digital filter design, which uses roots and poles of complex rational functions), but electrical engineers may find these rantings to be interesting.
