Thanks Phil : guess we'll wait to learn AAPL's foreign currency effect As currencies vary so must the result . Not afield is the possibility of a favorable US dollar offsetting any earlier damage in the same Quarter . Brings to mind how (in)valid our EPS estimates can be unless , like the financial "analysts" , we hedge our comments or we have a crystal ball . IMHO there are so many positive and factual events affecting AAPL's recovery and AAPL's stock , that this is a "footnote" issue for 2Q's back burner . In general , AAPL is doing many right things to sustain a recovery and 2Q is merely a stepping stone in a multi-year journey . Regards, Jim K.
