How do you expect Putin will do with the Russian protestors flooding into areas in Russia?
No idea. The man was the boss for a very long time. Generally, he enjoys a lot of support, but I’m sure, many people are sick of him and would like to see him go. Ukraine invasion could only make that worse.

In 2001 - 2002 I used to visit the English Forum of “Pravda.com”. It was an amazing site. Communists, unreconstructed Nazis and antisemites, real White supremacists, Even a sprinkling of somewhat radical Muslims - they were all there. Many “normals” as well. I used to call this site “The Wild, Wild East”. I’ve never seen anything like this in my life.

Among other things, I watched various radicals recruit people — after some public conversation, both sides willing, they would agree to take their conversation private. This is when I could see the true power of the Internet as means of radicalization.

If Russia still has 10% of that freedom, they’re way ahead of most of the rest of the world.
