To All:

There was a write up in the Calgary Herald today titled " Pelorus Share Run Into Turbulence Despite Success".
It stated that Calgary-based Pelorus is widely considered to be the global pioneer in the development of satellite landing systems and asked why its shares aren't reflecting its market potential.
Basically they indicate that the market expected a huge flood of orders when Pelorus and Honeywell received approval from the FAA for their system last August. The airline industry is very conservative and even if they do agree to buy the system they will do it on a gradual basis.
Also they indicated that management wasn't focused enough on Investor Relations, instead they concentrated on properly managing the Honeywell relationship. Also the stock faltered because management was not keeping the market informed of its activities.
According to analyst Mike Hill at Acumen Capital Partners, Honeywell has a Citation jet flying around in the U.S. doing demonstrations on the SLS and is in discussions with a number of significant airlines, including Continental and United.
Rob Tedham, an investment adviser with ScotiaMcLeod, likes the company because it offers the opportunity for cheap ownership in the Honeywell world navigation group. " And the sales of SLS will take off; it's just a question of when because the FAA has set a deadline for implementation of these systems by 2010," says Tedham.

Hopefully we will see a turnaround this year.
Regards,
Bonnie
