Sure, Russia will fight to take Ukraine and then Putin will attempt to take Lithuania which is north of Belarus...

But after Putin takes Ukraine, then he has to hold it and that's not going to be so easy or so simple...

There's already enormous Russian civilian protests at home against this aggression and also attempting to hold Ukraine will cost a huge fortune in rubles to hold successfully...

Putin is embarrassed about what happened to his country over the past 50 years and he's now trying to restore its greatness...

He feels aggrieved regarding Russia's diminished presence in the world and saw the opening with a cowardly president here in the United States...

So now, he sees the opportunity to strengthen his hand at home and weaken his rivals abroad, it's all about maintaining and enhancing his diminishing power...

His military adventure is right out of the dictator's playbook, only he's no great Roman emperor...

He has no end game, in fact I would say he already lost to the extent that he has now become a pariah in all of Europe and that pariah label is going to stick with him for many, many years...

He has no offramp, the bigger worry now is the increase of casualties in the next week or so...

He bit off far more than he an chew...

In the end, Putin will lose...
