Germany is NATO’s richest European member and the power behind the European Union. Yet Germany will soon be dependent on imported Russian natural gas for much of its energy needs.

I hate to say it but I don't blame Germany one bit.

Every 4-8 years the policy for producing, extracting and selling oil and NG in the U.S. changes.

Bush becomes president.........open the spigot.

Obama becomes president.............shut down the fossil fuel industry.

Trump becomes president............open the fuel industry up and go full bore.

Biden becomes president.............shut it down.

I'm sure Germany and other nations across the planet are sick it. Germany knows it's President Putin for life, they want cheap, reliable oil/NG so they can continue operations and remain the wealthiest country in EU, so they decided they're not going to play this ridiculous game with an unreliable "partner" any longer.
