Pat,

Okay I see that Westell is doing the systems work, but isn't Amati taking there own technology back from Motorola and attempting to break into the exact same business. And it is the same business that no company has an advantage yet (except may Alcatel as of yesterday).

I'm trying to apply the ISDN type of analogy to my thinking. Is Westell the Ascend type company all ready to break out? Is the extra valuation (~300 mil vs ~1100 mil) because the investing community thinks that WSTL has the mgmt to be the Ascend and Amati will be the Gandalf or Shiva? I guess my thinking is that Amati is on equal footing to Westell with the added advantage of knowing how to build the engine (using your analogy).

Thanks,
Mike
