Lots of history on the ex-communists countries here.. on the economic rebuild, when Albania & the Balkan states needed money, the usury rate of Western loans was excessively high.. faulted loans had little or no collateral. The Chinese eagerly stepped in and provided what was asked for. The problem of Chinese money, it became too problematic & dictatorial. Chinese demands are excessive. The power of Europe & the U.S. is here in Albania, the Balkans, & Turkey.. freedom & prosperity. Think of it this way.. emigration. Young people want Europe, the U.S. .. to learn, to live, to visit. Few, if any, want to go to Russia. China is like Mars. Americans generally have no clue on what the fuck is going on.
