If Russia does that, there will be no reason why the EU and the US will not remove the SWIFT exceptions.

This may well get uglier. At every step it will be worse for Russia than the rest of the world.

Two other things: the scenario they outlined for the crash in gold is what I predicted for a crash in oil. Oil will also drop if/when the OPEC increases the supply. So far Mr. Bonesaw is being the asshole that he is and came out stating he will keep with the agreement he has with Putin. This makes reaching a deal with Iran more important.
