This is true and I did not forget about it. But my point is not about how they were made but the fact that people wanted to make something great.

Maybe you prefer the example of clothing. The 17th and 18th fabrics had to be made by hand. Ditto for every button or every embroidery and lace that adorned them. Who does that kind of workmanship anymore? We all prefer to wear clothes that we can throw away next year.
