Record high margin debt, the inverted yield curve, record low consumer confidence, e.g., all the things I've been posting here for months - it all adds up to a recession and this recession will be nasty and it will be global... If this comes to pass, then these markets may still have a long way to go before it finds a bottom... As of today, I'm now getting weekly sell wiggle patterns taking shape in the charts for the major market indices... Of course, today is only Tuesday, but those patterns are now beginning to appear... The Russian ruble collapsed overnight, there's a run on the U.S. Dollar in Russia, we can see the dollar is strong today even with bonds sharply higher... GZ
