Sometimes I associate the off-topic discussions, or low volume of posts on any given thread, as indicative to the outlook of the stock. For example, take a look at the threads of companies such as INTC and MSFT...the volume of posts is diminutive compared to their rivals. They don't need to discuss their companies to much extent due to the security that lends itself from complete domination of their core markets.

Over the last 6 months, the ASND thread has probably been one of the busiest on SI...a handful of approx. a dozen people contributed to the majority of discussion, trying to figure out what was wrong/right with our company and when things would turn around.

But over the past couple weeks, the discussion has almost had a relaxed atmosphere (except for some people arguing), and I get the feeling that the overall consensus is that ASND has finally turned the corner and things actually appear quite bullish for the company. If this is any indication of the wider Street consensus, then I believe we are truly on a sustainable road to recovery.

That's my theory about all the off-topic, low-key chat.
