If a person bought the stock and mentioned it here, then I presume the person believed it to be some sort of value stock.
Just on the face of what's presented, most stocks are going to be immediately rejected by readers -- no interest in the business or sector, not priced low enough, too many business issues, no history, etc. No further discussion necessary. There's not much wasted time in pondering these decisions.
If there's something perhaps somewhat hidden that a reader might not easily ascertain - recent insider buys, something inside a 10k, important news from a competitor, that would definitely be important information provided by the original poster.
For just general information about why a stock mentioned here should be or could be looked at more closely, I've found that Seeking Alpha authors do a pretty detailed writeup of most stocks. So imo, the original posters here don't need to spend their time duplicating that information. |
