Aside from what you see, they worked together since ~1983, and Breyer may have been saying goodbye, nice to work with you, or they both may have said farewell, even though they hope to move the Confirmation Hearing forward in April. This may have been the chance to talk before a replacement moves up, if the first one faces other challenges. I don't think 50 50 is solid yet.
