I personally prefer if a poster puts out some rationale for the buy or even better pros and cons. I am guessing some are just to lazy to do so, or are afraid their thesis gets shredded. Both are OK, but of course some detail on a stock or source material makes it easier for the reader to draw his own conclusions or get a discussion of the merits going.
