Re: 56K modems - Please correct me if I wrong. Ok, since you asked so nicely. The standard was approved last week by the ITU, not a month ago. It is K56 Flex, not 56K flex. It is X2, not U2 (that's an Irish rock band). The standard is neither K56 Flex nor X2 but a mixture of the two. Other than that, you got, well, nothing right. But nice try!
