bdog, I don't think it is that simple. These phones are built on a big assembly line type set up. Switching from Q to some other model probably requires complete retooling. I don't know this for a fact but my best guess is that all the 700 temps would have nothing to do while they retool.

engineer, I thought all the ASICs are produced on the Morehouse Drive location. Is that not a fab?

Tom, I agree that there may be a lot of news that can negate the events of last week. Have to admit that I was not paying much attention to the events in Mexico. All of a sudden, the cc suggested that the auction may be over in the next couple of weeks, with QCOM leading in most areas. I don't even know the ramifications. Can someone give us an update?
