You would think that they'd get BBC Russia or Voice of America on their radios. But of course these are enemy propaganda, so they have no credibility.

What would have much greater credibility is Russians communicating with their relatives in the EU and the US. But my Russian friends here have almost all their family outside and only grandparents are left in Moscow. So I am not sure how much of that is going on.

I know that since 2017 Russia has ratcheted up its internet censorship. It should be even much higher now.

The first amendment is the best part of the US constitution and America's secret strength. The world would be a much better place if every country adopted it.
