I'd forgotten about the '84 cycle, but '97 is fresh in my mind. I can't help but recall that COMS was the first stock I threw money at after studying Thomas DeMark's Sequential signal. I really did well. If you like a company but are not sure where to jump on, (or off), you could do a lot worse. It's one of 5 primary filters I use, (not counting fundamentals; the most important), and the only problem I have when I describe it is getting someone to not laugh before I'm done with my explanation. The recent buy signal for ASND was December 19th, 1997. I was in before that date, but, (on this occasion at least,) it was a terrific signal. I'm gonna check the Sequential on AOL, maybe a sell is forming. pete
