Mainland China will, likely, start a war with Taiwan - but only if they officially announce complete independence - or, start a nuke program. Or try joining nato or something like that. For as long as none of that happens, no one will bother anyone for the next 100 years. After Trump cut off export of semiconductors to China, tens of thousands of Taiwanese engineers went to work for Huawei and other Chinese companies. Taiwan saved China’s bacon. JMHO. |
