Call me silly, but I decided the potential loss of ability of widespread regions to communicate because of destruction of terrestrial mobile cell networks from civil/political/military unrest, combined with the occasional bruit of technology development that might connect regular cell phones to satellites, is enough to justify reentry by a modest investment in GSAT, with an indefinite time frame.
What seemed a stronger potential opportunity in the past hasn't worked out before, so my hopes are not high, but after all these years, I don't want to miss a major move should the marvelous potential of satellite CDMA be realized, in response to what seems like a lesson of how demand can become urgent when things hit the fan.

Polar inaccessibility always seemed a likely deal breaker in the past, but there have been no revolutions in the polar regions lately.
