I don't know how much simpler it can be made. For the first time in decades, the US became energy independent under Trump. For sure, 2020 and Covid shook things up in terms of demand. But we continued to produce what we needed and fuel prices stayed low, and we were able to export at least SOME as Covid became an issue. You can squirm and deny all you'd like. But these are immutable facts, and you are the liars, not us. You always want to diminish the credit where it is due Republicans, and dump the blame for everything on Republicans.
