A New York City serial criminal awaiting sentencing for assault with a deadly weapon now stands accused of slashing an Asian man in the face with a razor on the subway—and has since been bailed yet again. Brendan Dowling, 40, faces second degree assault and evidence tampering charges over an incident that took place on a J train in Manhattan at around 8:22 a.m. Sunday. Dowling, allegedly unprovoked, slashed a 41-year-old Asian man who was just sitting on the train near Essex Street and Delancey Street in the face.(Snip)No mugshot has been released, meaning New York City dwellers could once again be at the mercy of a dangerous serial criminal known for violent behavior in public places.
