They shouldn't have shut down their nuclear generators until they had built new sources.
Yeah, coulda shoulda woulda, huh?

Meanwhile, we Californians are doing the exact same thing. San Onofre was shut down, and now California is the largest importer of electricity.

Where are the offshore wind turbines?

How much progress have we made in shifting toward solar energy?

How about energy storage solutions like pumped hydro? Plenty of places in California where two potential water reservoirs of differing elevations can be constructed.

Politicians who have never built anything, never designed anything, never owned a business other than maybe a winery, continue to bungle the whole "green energy" thing.

And now we're paying for it. How much is gas in your area? Around here, we hit $5.50/gallon already, and we're likely headed well past $6.

Even that is blamed on a "shadow gas tax," because Gov. Greasy Hair doesn't know jack about economics ...
