I think cars have come with locking gas caps for a long time now.

Won't do much good when some moron drills holes in your gas tank. Of course, one spark and the idiot will get his head blown off..

EVERETT, Wash. - Everett Police say recently they have seen cases of people using power tools to steal gas from gas tanks, instead of rubber tubes to siphon the gas out.

With prices of gas quickly rising, and the cost of having to repair a gas tank, police advise that you park your vehicle in a garage or well-lit area to help deter would-be thieves.
