....well....."some sort of autonomy" or "quasi independence" doesn't constitute an agreement.........I'd guess Russia would define it as two completely independent states (country) which would then be free to be back absorbed into greater Russia.....The Ukraine probably would have a different definition. I'd guess Putin figures he does not have to leave it up for negotiation and so the war goes on........Putin will win and then will very explicitly state the terms. Winning wars have consequences.
