Look at that DXY go today!!

I think we're still seeing a flight to "relative safety" of USD vis-a-vis other currencies..

And when we look at the DXY monthly, we can see the bigger picture.. Every past instance where the 9 month MA crossed above the 50 month MA, it's resulted in major upside in the USD (and bad for stocks)..
