The history of England and the US gives ample reason for the latest saber rattling going on the Mideast. Basically, we just can't keep our noses out of others business. I recently read a report that summed it up pretty well. The Persian Gulf states consider themselves at war with the West in general and Christianity in particular. This has been going on for centuries and will continue. Iran and Iraq used to control all of the gulf and they want it back. They consider their "terrorist attacks" as acts of war with the long range view of taking back the gulf. Saudi Arabia and Kuwait are thorns in the side of Iran and Iraq and they have seen the US and England support these corrupt oil governments. As far as they are concerned no power on this earth will stop them.. no matter how long it takes. It may not take long considering the health of the Saudi leadership and the infighting going on in the family. The only benefits from this fighting will be to those who are invested in oil and in gold.

Its not a matter of if, but when.
