Ken,
Trump took us out of the nuclear deal and now Russia wont let us back in.
The deal that Obama made with Iran was a completely one-sided affair. It was the opposite of "distrust and verify."

Trump in his usual "bull in a china shop" manner scrapped the deal, thereby giving Democrats an excuse for why it didn't work, but it was apparent from the start that it would never work in the first place.

Ask yourself this. The Constitution calls for any treaty to be ratified by Congress. Why do you think Obama didn't want to call it a "treaty," if the deal was such a good idea in the first place? Why didn't he work hard to win support from the Republicans and turn the deal into an ironclad treaty?

The answer is because Obama was never interested in a long-lasting deal. All he wanted to do was virtue-signal to the world that he got rid of Iran's nukes. Maybe it would work, maybe it wouldn't, but at least the Nobel Peace Prize laureate gets to claim that he tried.
