Much worthy of comment... but not much there I find of value.
The criticisms would require developing the arguments they don't make... perhaps don't recognize...
I might start by noting the "experts" continue to disappoint... while what I see in the content generated mostly misses the core problems and issues... starting in failing to differentiate properly between "can't" and "won't" as well as between "don't want to" and "I don't understand what you're asking me"... which makes almost all of the pronouncements about what is not possible or what is inevitable or "the only solution"... a poor farce.
What it lacks in perception... it makes up for with a lack of imagination ?
It essentially avoids addressing much of anything that matters... after quickly brushing by and bumping into a few such things... but then merely mumbles something of an apology and scurries away...
How easy it would be to develop more from the shocked awareness some have just experienced... in learning that "real things" matter ? And, that without said real things... there will be nothing else ? Apparently, our world leaders never conquered the concept of object permanence before moving on to reinventing the global financial system. So, I'm not shocked... and find it perversely amusing that so many "experts" appear to be.
Ran across another such disappointment, today... similarly both ignorant, annoying and perversely amusing... from one those here should recognize as among the peripheral class of self appointed experts... in finance...
I should be more kind... as Raul is at least sincere... and honest enough, unlike most others, to admit that he misjudged things, misunderstood others, and failed to comprehend... much... or, is just ignorant... leaving him suddenly far less certain in his own ability to make sound judgements about things... which mostly now has him narrowing his focus to that which he seems to think he best understands... in likely immediate impacts.
And, I don't see much to quibble with in his perceptions re those things... but, its also not offering much if anything you haven't already seen here often enough ?
However... do have to note... I struggled to avoid laughing at him, at times... as when he denies any ability to comprehend or predict anything in geopolitics... but, still proceeds to claim the world situation has him narrowing his focus back to the mastery of Macro...LOL!!! As if that is remotely possible without understanding the world and how it works, in fact ? And, knowing it well enough to rationalize ones choices in a context... that DOES EXIST... whether you choose to acknowledge it, or understand it or not ? And, whether or not you understand it... that still not obviating your "professional" responsibility to be informed... and NOT be caught out that way... that reality happening proves to be such a shock ?
