Still a ways to go before Kyle Bass can pay for the wine with a bucket of nickels...

But, I have been diversifying my collection of longer dated calls on gold and particularly silver miners this week... finding it quite odd that no one really seems to have found any value in many of them, at least not until the last week or so...

Many in the market appear asleep at the switch, still. I have found more than a few instances where longer dated just out of the money calls are on ask for less than the shorter dates. Entertaining to buy all there are on offer... and then see them immediately lurch higher... by 4X. Apparently all the super computing power on Wall Street is allocated to re-fractionating milliseconds to make the chickens scratch and peck the same dirt faster... rather than applying a random old laptop to considering the development of massive gaps in parity pricing ? Unavoidable, I suppose.. in those corners of the market were the options tables have a thin veneer of dust covering them...

Reality is... the miners are still the shallow end of the pool... in Wall Streets perception... most of them dwarfed by Cathie Woods "value" plays in tech that doesn't exist yet...
