Bonjour This is the "expert" : Mr Schaeffer ,vice president of Kinross At this moment, we would like to point out that Mr. Schaeffer, who was primarily responsible for engineering the joint venture, is the author of what is considered to be the bible of mining in the Carlin called "Bulk Mining in the Carlin Trend". Don't' quote us on the exact title because we seem not to have clear notes on this point and we will clarify if it is incorrect. The point, however, is that Mr. Schaeffer is considered an authority on the Carlin Trend. Regards Joe oops, his correct name and title is :Robert W. Schafer Vice-President,exploration as found on the Kinross website.
