There were so many moving pieces, including options expirations, that investors needed to understand the fundamentals. When a company earns its market cap in one year, it is rarely a sell.

Still plenty of opportunities in the shipping space. There are about half a dozen sub-categories. So, while some segments (e.g. container shipping) are in massive bull markets, others are biding their time.(e.g. crude / product carriers, ship leasing). And now the Russian / Ukraine situation has the potential to ramp up profits in the laggard segments.
