Could be a problem if they're used to sway politicians like bribes. I know our Rep. (R) went for it. He lives for bringing home the bacon. Loves to brag about it. Willing to ignore R principles if he can get things for his state. I used to ignore it, but then we got a Senator who does the same thing, but with worse effects. I didn't study the budget or get the latest brag yet, so I don't know what the goodies are this time. I just know he went for it and there's some things affecting gun rights that are nothing for him to be bragging about. Oh - and let Russia pay for fixing Ukraine. We did it for Iraq. For the US to give them aid and encouragement now is just inviting more destruction. Slow Joe waited too long to do any good. Maybe the R Senators and their token MIG donation resolution will put the fear of God into Putin to realize he broke it so he bought it. There's never going to be peace with the Russians there after what he's done, so the best he can hope for is to patch things up with a neutral Ukraine. Zelensky will realize that soon if we don't allow it to drag out with too little, too late aid.
