Re <<AS you may know I had a small 18 workers loudspeakers and audio amplifiers factory with exports to N. America Italy and UK, meeting at the time some Saudi prince in London after the Show got me in trouble with Israel Authorities
To get the more pleasant sound I experimented a lot with the membranes sound dispersion and the wood treatment of the loudspeaker boxes and their structure.
not for nothing the loudspeakers were on the cover page of an UK Hi-Fi journal in 1977 or 78

Instructive, and I wait for the ‘later’.

I tried to buy a tube radio yesterday but the one shop I went by many times over the years is not where I expected it to be.

Now my urge / imperative for such a ‘thing’ is higher than ever, because the ‘thing’ has gone unobtainium

Alas, I fear, too late

… and there is no such thing as paper vacuum tube radio; not yet

amazon.com

Am not looking for a fancy one. Just one that would light up, like so, before they go ‘no memory trace’, a state soon after ‘unobtainium’
