Been listening to a new Orla (“Orlagh”) Fallon recording, a one-hour special on the Maidred Mondays webcast. Maidred Nesbitt played fiddle for Celtic Woman, dancing around the stage like a fairy. Maidred does a fiddle tune here. With Celtic Woman. Orlagh sang in her haunting voice and played harp sometimes. Here Maidred introduces the great Orlagh song “Ilse of InnesFree” with some of the folklore behind it, then plays the Celtic Woman video of Orlagh performing the song accompanying the vocals with Irish Harp.
