Are you good?
What are you doing?

The Jack making progress all on his own, and learned he cannot JUST follow along some youtube instructions without have FIRST reviewed the entire video, because

(i) he ran into one set of instructions where the tasks were told out of sequential order, and

(ii) he did not catch a post script that noted some wobbliness of the switches were natural and self-fixing once the box container is put together at the very end of the assembly process.

Now the Jack is budgeting for a more ambitious liquid-cooled computer to be assembled from scratch, and loaded w/ BIOS, then …

Let’s just say he knows more about some aspects of computers more than I did when I was a Master’s Degree candidate in computer structures … I never delved into how a keyboard is put together.

He asked me about a rare keyboard electrical short, and asked whether he should do whatever time-expenditure to install some isolation paper layer between whatever and whatever. He emphasized that the short circuit would be rare.

I asked him whether he had the isolation (yes) and if he wanted quality (yes). Super.

He naturally does fairly good housekeeping of his work area …
