2. The withdrawal of all heavy weapons by both parties at equal distances in order to create at least a 50 kilometer security zone for 100mm or larger caliber artillery systems, a 70 kilometer security zone for Grad multiple rocket launcher systems and a 140 kilometer security zone for the Tornado-S, Uragan, and Smerch multiple rocket launcher systems and Tochka (Tochka-U) tactical missile systems:
This, I think, has a funny aspect. Imo, it’s a way to negotiate some extra territory for Donetsk and Luhansk. Those areas are pretty small - in order to have a 140km security zone, they’d have to be a bit larger :)

What is holding up the negotiations? Hard to tell. The word was out that they’re in agreement on all important points. Then - videos start coming out, showing Zelensky demanding a ceasefire - plus a complete withdrawal of Russian troops - PRIOR to discussing any “political” details.

That is very drastic. Essentially, it’s designed to kill the negotiations.
