Those safes are expensive and thieves can still take your guns. Another bad thing about both parents working.
A guy at my job had his guns stolen while he and his wife were at work. Guys apparently brought a torch and cut through the safe that was big, heavy and bolted to the floor. They burned the carpet, smoke damage etc too. He'd been better off just having them sitting out or in a closet, under the bed whatever.
